The idea

The snake is not the villain of this story

A snake sheds because it outgrew what it was wearing. It is not a death — it is the only way the thing keeps living. That is the record Ostrovsky made, and it is the reason we cast this collection around a serpent instead of a crest.

Every piece coils rather than sits. The scale texture is cut by hand into the wax before casting, so the light breaks up the way it does on something alive. Oxidised recesses, polished ridges — the older it gets, the better the contrast reads.

Four pieces, one continuous body: the pendant is the head, the ring the coil, the earrings the split tongue, the bracelet the tail. Wear one or wear the whole animal.

“I wanted something I could still be wearing in ten years, when the album is somebody else's memory.”
